2024 ISACA Scholarship Program

 

Infusing Untapped Talent into the Digital Trust Workforce

IT audit, risk, security, assurance and cybersecurity are quickly becoming some of the most important industries to safeguard global business infrastructure, but there is a talent gap that continues to spread as needs increase. The ISACA Foundation (previously known as One In Tech), provides scholarships to bridge that gap through inclusion and diversity-building initiatives.

ISACA launched its pilot scholarship program in March 2022, offering 316 academic scholarships since. These scholarships provide support for students who are members of a historically underrepresented population within the tech space, creating academic and career pathways, and ultimately culminating in cyber-related careers. Awardees receive critical funds to continue and complete higher education and an ISACA Career Building Bundle to connect students to a network of IT/IS professionals, certifications, and mentoring. Watch our 2022 Impact Video: Collaboration Creates the Future of Digital Trust and get to know our 2022 + 2023 Scholarship Recipients.

We are expanding our scholarship program this year by partnering with more ISACA chapters and corporations, who have provided funding for their awards. We are offering 200+ scholarships in 2024 supporting the education and career development of students from 20+ countries. We are grateful for our partner’s commitment to ensuring diversity and supporting cybersecurity professional development.

ISACA Foundation is now a member of the National Scholarship Providers Association, a collective that is advancing the impact of scholarships. This scholarship program was honored with a 2023 Power of Associations Gold Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for our work bridging the cybersecurity workforce gap. The ISACA Foundation offers scholarships in two cycles in 2024:

2024 Cycle 1:

  • Applications open March 26
  • Applications close May 28
  • Selection process completed June
  • Awards presented August

2024 Cycle 2:

  • Applications open September 10
  • Applications close November 5
  • Selection process completed November
  • Awards presented January 2025

        Digital Trust Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to global IT audit, risk, security, assurance, or cybersecurity students who identify within a demographic that is historically underrepresented within the tech profession.

        ISACA Cybersecurity Month Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to global cybersecurity students who identify within a demographic that is historically underrepresented within the tech profession.
        ISACA Greater Hartford Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a cybersecurity or IT-related associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree at a school in Connecticut.
        ISACA Greater Houston Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a cybersecurity or IT-related associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree at the University of Houston, UH-Clear Lake, UH-Victoria, Houston Community College, or Lone Star College.
        ISACA Greater Washington DC Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree related to cybersecurity or IT audit at George Mason University, Howard University, Marymount University, or University of Maryland Global Campus.

        ISACA Las Vegas - Dr. Patricia Navarro-Velez Memorial Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to undergraduate students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) or College of Southern Nevada (CSN) who are interested in a career in IT audit, risk, security, assurance, or cybersecurity.

        ISACA New England Chapter Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in cybersecurity, IT audit, or risk management at Bentley University, Boston College, or the University of Southern Maine.

        ISACA North Texas Chapter Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to junior and senior students pursuing a bachelor's degree related to Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, IT Audit, IT Compliance, or IT Governance at a university in North Texas.
        ISACA Sacramento Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students who are interested in cybsersecurity and attending California State University Sacramento, University of California Davis, or University of the Pacific. 
        ISACA San Diego Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, IT/IS audit, or computer science at a university in San Diego.
        Lummio Cybersecurity Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, IT audit, risk, assurance, or cybersecurity at a school in the state of Illinois.
        MassMutual Scholarship - University of Massachusetts Amherst CS This scholarship is open to rising sophomores in the computer science major at University of Massachusetts Amherst.

        National Cybersecurity Alliance HBCU Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to undergraduate students studying cybersecurity, privacy and risk at select HBCU universities.

        National Cyber League Games Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to National Cyber League (NCL) Game participants attending an accredited university in the United States who plan to pursue a degree in cybersecurity or information assurance.
        SheLeadsTech Digital Tech Scholarship Chicago This scholarship is open to junior and senior high school girls in the state of Illinois who are interested in computer science, cybersecurity, IT, networking, data science and analytics, robotics and AI, or web/app development.

        ISACA Germany Chapter Scholarship

        This scholarship is open to students pursuing a master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer science, IT Compliance, IT Governance, Cybersecurity Law, or a STEM degree that includes these topics at an accredited University/institute in Germany.
        ISACA Kenya Chapter Scholarship For cybersecurity, IT audit, and risk management students enrolled at an accredited or reputable school in Kenya.
        ISACA Osaka Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a cybersecurity or IT audit bachelor's degree (3rd year), master's degree or PhD at a university in the Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku or Kyushu regions of Japan.
        ISACA London Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in information security, cybersecurity, IS audit, risk management, governance, compliance, or data privacy at a university in London.
        ISACA Santo Domingo Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity or IT at a university in the Dominican Republic.
        ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to final year student's pursuing a cybersecurity-related degree from any of the Member Institutes within Federation of IT Sri Lanka (FITIS).
        ISACA Sydney Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a bachelor's or postgraduate degree related to cybersecurity, IT audit, or IT risk at a university in Sydney.
        MassMutual India Scholarship This scholarship is open to undergraduate students pursuing a degree related to cybersecurity at select universities in India.
        MassMutual Romania Scholarship This scholarship is open to students pursuing a cybersecurity or IT audit bachelor's or master's degree in Romania.
